KRS 36.130: Officers and personnel -- Appointment -- Duties -- Salaries.

The adjutant general, by and with the advice and approval of the Governor, shall appoint

the officers and other personnel necessary for the proper functioning of the Department of

Military Affairs, fix their salaries and prescribe their duties.
