KRS 363.580: Director's duties.

The director shall have the custody of the state standards of weight and measure and of

the other standards and equipment provided for by KRS 363.510 to 363.850, and shall

keep accurate records of the same. The director shall enforce the provisions of KRS

363.510 to 363.850. He shall have and keep a general supervision over the weights and

measures offered for sale, sold, or in use in the state. He shall annually, in the month of

July, make to the commissioner a report on all of the activities of his office.
