KRS 365.528: Liability exemptions.

A peer -to-peer car sharing program and a shared vehicle owner shall be exempt from

vicarious liability:

(1) Consistent with 49 U.S.C. sec. 30106; and

(2) Except as provided in KRS 304.39 -080, under any state or local law that imposes

liability solely based on vehicle ownership.
