KRS 38.160: Dishonorable discharge -- Governor to approve dismissal.

A dishonorable discharge shall be given only by sentence of a general court -martial. No

sentence of dismissal from the service or dishonorable discharge imposed by a court -

martial shall be executed until approved by the Governor.
