KRS 394.724: Scope of KRS 394.720 to 394.750 -- Limitations.

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2) of this section, KRS 394.720 to 394.750 apply

to an electronic nontestamentary estate planning document and an electronic

signature on a nontestamentary estate planning document.

(2) KRS 394.720 to 394.750 do not apply to a nontestamentary estate planning

document if the document precludes use of an electronic record or electronic

signature.

(3) KRS 394.720 to 394.750 do not affect the validity of an electronic record or

electronic signature that is valid under:

(a) The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, KRS 369.101 to 369.120; or

(b) The Uniform Electronic Wills Act, KRS 394.700 to 394.715.
