KRS 395.620: Report and filing of periodic or final settlement and documentation --

Confirmation.

(1) The District Judge shall review a periodic or final settlement filed by a fiduciary,

accompanied by documentation showing receipts, payments, and distribution.

(2) If the settlement is not submitted as provided in KRS 395.617(5) and otherwise

found by the court to be complete, the court shall direct the clerk of the court to set

a date for a hearing on the settlement and give notice as required in KRS 395.625.

(3) If the settlement is found to be in conformity with an order approving, confirming,

or amending a proposed settlement made under KRS 395.617, the court shall

confirm the settlement without further hearing or notice to any person and, if the

settlement is final, discharge the fiduciary and his or her surety, if any.
