KRS 39E.170: State agency response.

Agencies of state government shall respond, within the confines of the Kentucky

Emergency Operations Plan and agency policies, to releases of hazardous substances.

Each response shall be consistent with the hazardous materials annex of the Kentucky

Emergency Operations Plan. If an on -scene response is required by the Kentucky

Emergency Operations Plan or by agency policy, state agencies shall cooperate with one

another and with local emergency response organizations and with the party or parties

responsible for that release.
