KRS 45A.290: Effect of protest.

In the event of a protest timely filed under KRS 45A.285(2), the Commonwealth shall not

proceed further with the solicitation or award involved, until the secretary of the Finance

and Administration Cabinet, or his designee, makes a written and adequately supported

determination that continuation of the procurement is necessary to protect substantial

interests of the Commonwealth.
