KRS 508.175: Strangulation in the second degree.

  1. KRS Chapter 508

(1) A person is guilty of strangulation in the second degree when the person, without

consent, wantonly impedes the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of

another person by:

(a) Applying pressure on the throat or neck of the other person; or

(b) Blocking the nose or mouth of the other person.

(2) Strangulation in the second degree is a Class D felony.
