KRS 61.030: Discharge of duties, when officer to enter upon.

All officers other than those mentioned in KRS 61.020 may enter upon the discharge of

the duties of their offices at the time prescribed by the Constitution or the statute creating

the office, upon taking the oath and executing the bond required by law.
