KRS 61.918: Use of force less than deadly force.

A special law enforcement officer may, in the course of accomplishing any lawful arrest

for a criminal offense other than a felony committed upon the public property as herein

provided, use and apply that force, less than deadly force, which he believes is necessary

to make the arrest.
