KRS 620.120: Criminal charges tried separately.

In cases where criminal charges arising out of the same transaction or occurrence are filed

against an adult alleged to be the perpetrator of child abuse or neglect, such charges shall

be tried separately from the adjudicatory hearing held pursuant to this chapter.
