KRS 65.755: Digits reserved for emergency telephone number.

Every telephone company within the Commonwealth shall reserve the initial digits 9 -1-1

for use as an emergency telephone number. The company shall assign this number within

an exchange only to a public body or other applicant for the establishment of 911

emergency service.
