KRS 67.200: New petition when petition not filed in time.

  1. KRS Chapter 67

If such a petition is filed with the county judge/executive of the second county more than

six (6) months from the time of the filing of the petition in the first county, the petition

filed in the first county shall be of no effect, but a new petition, sig ned as provided in

KRS 67.190, may be filed in the first county, and, if it is filed within six (6) months of the

filing of the petition in the second county, it shall be effective for the purpose of

authorizing the calling of an election in each county as provided in KRS 67.210.
