KRS 70.210: Mobile radio communication equipment for sheriffs and deputies.

The fiscal court of any county may purchase mobile radio communication equipment for

the use of the sheriff and deputies of that county if it deems the purchase of such

equipment to be to the best interest of the county, considering the county finances and

other permissible expenditures.
