KRS 97.710: Limit on expense to be incurred.

Except with the approval of the city legislative body, the commission shall not incur for

maintenance purposes of the memorial, or permit the incurrence of, any liability or

expense exceeding the total funds derived or to be derived for any fiscal year by

appropriation from the city for such year, or the levying and collection of taxes for such

purpose in the fiscal year, supplemented by income from the memorial and by donations

in money or property reduced to money made to the commission for maintenance

purposes.
