RS 13:1222: Motor vehicles for the office of the clerk of court

A. The clerk of court may purchase or lease three motor vehicles to be used for official office use only.

B. The clerk of court may purchase insurance for the motor vehicles authorized in Subsection A of this Section. The insurance shall be purchased from an insurance company which is licensed to do business under the laws of this state.

C. The clerk of court may use any funds which are lawfully available to him to purchase or lease the motor vehicles and to pay the insurance on the motor vehicles, as authorized in this Section.
