RS 13:2081.3: Monroe; transfer of funds

The City Court of Monroe may transfer unused or surplus funds from the money collected and deposited into the account for the pretrial diversion program into the general operational account of the court to be used for the operational expenses of the court. The expenditure of these funds shall be at the sole discretion of the judges of the court except that a portion of that amount, not to exceed twenty percent, shall be used to fund the office of the district public defender. Any funds so transferred shall be included in the court's annual audit.
