RS 23:2207: Approval of fiscal agent

A. The department shall approve the fiscal agent selected by a board before any federal or state workforce development funds may be disbursed to the board.

B. The department shall base its approval on an audit of the financial capability of the fiscal agent to ensure that fiscal controls and fund accounting procedures necessary to guarantee the proper disbursal of and accounting for federal and state funds are in place.
