RS 28:3: Application of Chapter; costs

The provisions of this Chapter apply to persons who are suffering from mental illness or substance-related or addictive disorders. Nothing in this Chapter referring to costs shall be construed to defer or prevent the care of a person in a state psychiatric hospital or state treatment facility, nor his release therefrom.
