RS 40:700.9: Duties of district attorney

Each district attorney to whom the department reports any violation for institution of criminal proceedings or proceedings for an injunction under this Subpart, or to whom any health, food, or drug officer of the state or political subdivision thereof presents evidence satisfactory to the district attorney of any such violation shall institute appropriate proceedings in the proper court without delay.
