Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 111, § 63: Supervision and control by commissioner

Section 63. The commissioner shall have general supervision and control of the Rutland hospital, the Lakeville hospital, and the Western Massachusetts hospital and shall see that the affairs of such hospitals are conducted according to law, and to the by-laws and regulations established by the council in respect thereto.
