Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 111, § 67: Gifts or bequests

Section 67. The department may take and hold in trust gifts or bequests for its own use or for the use of any hospital under its charge and shall succeed to and retain the rights, powers and duties formerly held or acquired by the trustees of hospitals for consumptives.
