Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 111, § 86: Acquisition of land

Section 86. Subject to section eight-four, county commissioners may purchase, lease, or take by eminent domain under chapter seventy-nine, such land, not exceeding five hundred acres, as they may deem necessary or convenient for the purposes set forth in section seventy-eight.
