Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 146, § 61: Board of examiners for certification of competency to inspect steam boilers; subject matter of examination

Section 61. Three inspectors of the division of inspection of the department of fire services shall act as a board of examiners. The applicant shall be examined as to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of steam boilers and their appurtenances in the case of an applicant for a certificate of competency to inspect steam boilers.
