Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 215, § 46: Summons or citation; service by registered mail

Section 46. When personal service is required of any summons or citation issued by a probate court, the court may direct such service to be made by registered mail addressed to the party entitled thereto at his post office address. Further service may be ordered.
