Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 221, § 52: Disqualification of attorney to act in suits previously decided by him

Section 52. No person shall be employed or allowed to appear as attorney before a court in any proceeding, civil or criminal, which shall have been previously determined before him as a judge of any court or as a trial justice.
