Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 244, § 39: Redemption generally

Section 39. The mortgagor or his assigns may redeem the land in like manner and upon like terms as if held by any other mortgagee, and the payment or performance of the condition shall be made or tendered to the state treasurer.
