Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 40, § 50: Annual town report; copy to state library

Section 50. One copy or more of the annual report and of any special report of a town shall annually, on or before the last day of May, be transmitted by the town clerk to the state library, and until such transmission the publications distributed by the commonwealth shall be withheld from the town.
