Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 9, § 11: Great seal; custody; certified copies of records as evidence

Section 11. The state secretary shall have the custody of the great seal of the commonwealth; and copies of records and papers in his department, certified by him and authenticated by said seal, shall be evidence like the originals.
