Md. Code, Agriculture § 1–301

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) “Carrier” includes a transportation agent.

(c) (1) “Consignee” means a person selling farm products on commission.

(2) “Consignee” includes an agent, factor, and commission merchant.
