Md. Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 24–1407

(a) (1) A license shall be issued for 6 or 12 months.

(2) The term of a license begins on May 1.

(b) If a license is not claimed by the applicant within 30 days after issue or renewal, the license is void.

(c) When a 6–month license is issued, only one–half of the annual fee shall be charged.
