Md. Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 28–206

(a) The Board shall appoint an inspector.

(b) An inspector shall:

(1) possess the power of a peace officer in the State arising out of or relating to the enforcement of this article; and

(2) carry out the duties that the Board requires.

(c) The County Commissioners shall set the salary of the inspector.
