Md. Code, Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis § 3–703

A license issued by the Executive Director for a premises acquired for public use shall expire 180 days after acquisition unless an application is pending or has been approved for:

(1) a transfer of the license to another location or another person, subject to Subtitle 3 of this title; or

(2) a certificate of permission or a renewal license for continuation of business, subject to § 3–802 of this title.
