Md. Code, Correctional Services § 11–508

If an incarcerated individual is committed to the custody of the Commissioner of Correction or transferred to another local correctional facility:

(1) the incarcerated individual’s record of accrued diminution credits shall be forwarded to the receiving correctional facility; and

(2) the receiving correctional facility shall apply the credits to reduce the incarcerated individual’s term of confinement.
