Md. Code, Criminal Law § 13–1301

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) “Gaming event” includes:

(1) a bazaar;

(2) a carnival;

(3) a raffle;

(4) a tip jar; and

(5) a punchboard.

(c) “Tip jar” includes an electronic tip jar dispenser that does not connect to the Internet or to a server.
