Md. Code, Criminal Law § 13–2501

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) “Committee” means the Gaming Advisory Committee established under § 13-2505 of this subtitle.

(c) “Sheriff” means the Sheriff of Wicomico County.
