Md. Code, Education § 3–2B–07

A nonstudent member of the county board may not:

(1) Be a candidate for or hold elected or appointed office for:

(i) A political party; or

(ii) The local, State, or federal government; or

(2) Be a current employee of the Baltimore County public school system.
