(a) If land in the Prince George’s County stormwater management district

is annexed by the City of Bowie or the City of Takoma Park, the land is no longer part

of the county stormwater management district.

(b) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the annexing

municipality is responsible for stormwater management in the annexed area.

(2) Prince George’s County shall impose and collect from the annexed

property an ad valorem tax at a rate sufficient to pay the principal, interest, and other

obligations on outstanding bonds issued by the Commission or Prince George’s

County for stormwater management before the annexation.
