Md. Code, Local Government § 26–306

The county commissioners or county council shall:

(1) retain the original petition and report approved under § 26–

206(b) of this title; and

(2) deliver a copy of the approved petition and report to the board of

managers and the State Soil Conservation Committee in the Department of

Agriculture.
