Md. Code, State Government § 9–4101

(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b) “Department” means the Department of Social and Economic Mobility.

(c) “Secretary” means the Secretary of Social and Economic Mobility.

(d) “Unit of State government” or “unit” means an agency or unit of the Executive Branch of State government.
