24-A M.R.S. §3861: Deposit in lieu of bond

In lieu of the bond required under section 3860, the attorney may maintain on deposit with the Treasurer of State through the office of the superintendent, a like amount in cash or in value of securities qualified under this Title as insurers' investments, and subject to the same conditions as the bond.
