Mich. Comp. Laws § 247.808: Adoption of bylaws by commission.

Sec. 8.

The commission by an affirmative vote of a majority of its members may adopt bylaws pertaining to the following:

Any aspect of the commission's organization and internal management not otherwise prescribed by law.

The administration of oaths.

The posting of bond by the director or a subordinate in the amount the commission determines to be reasonable and proper, the premium to be paid from the state transportation fund.
