Mich. Comp. Laws § 252.151: Arbitration of interstate highway route locations; definitions.

Sec. 1.

As used in this act:

“Board” means the highway location arbitration board.

“Department” means the department of state highways.

“Commission” means the state highway commission or its designated representative.

“Interstate highway” means a highway route on the interstate system as defined in and designated pursuant to Title 23 of the United States Code, prior to the effective date of this act.

“Affected municipality” means a city or village in which a proposed interstate highway route or alternate route would wholly or partly lie.
