Mich. Comp. Laws § 257.728b: Establishment of procedures to insure accountability; maintenance of citation records.

Sec. 728b.

The state treasurer shall establish procedures to insure accountability which shall be maintained by all jurisdictions processing traffic violation citations. The record showing the issuance and subsequent disposition shall be maintained complete for at least the most recent 5-year period and such records and notices shall be available for public inspection.
