Mich. Comp. Laws § 289.7103: Processing low-acid foods; requirements.

Sec. 7103.

All thermally processed, low-acid foods that are packaged in hermetically sealed containers shall be processed in a licensed commercial food establishment.

All processors of acidified, low-acid foods packaged in hermetically sealed containers shall comply with the regulations of the U.S. food and drug administration in 21 C.F.R. part 114.

All thermally processed, low-acid foods that are packaged in hermetically sealed containers shall comply with the regulations of the U.S. food and drug administration in 21 C.F.R. part 113.

Hermetically sealed packages shall be handled to maintain product and container integrity.
