Mich. Comp. Laws § 3.571: Definitions.

Sec. 1.

As used in this act:

"Authority" means a base conversion authority as provided for in this act.

"Base" means a federal military installation on the final list of base or facility closures submitted by the base realignment and closure commission to the president of the United States and subsequently approved by congress.

"Department" means the department of commerce.
