Sec. 19501.

As used in this part:

"Bonds" means the bonds issued under part 193 or former Act No. 326 of the Public Acts of 1988.

"Fund" means the environmental protection bond fund created in section 19506.

"Local unit of government" means a county, city, village, or township, or an agency of a county, city, village, or township; an authority or any other public body created by or pursuant to state law; or this state or an agency or department of this state.

"Private entity" means an individual, trust, firm, partnership, corporation, or association, whether profit or nonprofit, that is not a local unit of government.
