Sec. 32302.
By April 1, 1972, the department shall make or cause to be made an engineering study of the shoreland to determine all of the following:
The high-risk areas.
The areas of the shorelands that are platted or have buildings or structures and that require protection from erosion.
The type of protection that is best suited for an area determined in subdivision (b).
A cost estimate of the construction and maintenance for each type of protection determined in subdivision (c).
