Mich. Comp. Laws § 324.43519: License requirements; effect of court order.

Sec. 43519.

To obtain any license, an applicant shall provide the department with 1 or more of the following as required by the department:

Proof of residency or a signed affidavit of Michigan residency.

Information required on the license application.

The required license fee.

Proof of identification.

A person shall not obtain or attempt to obtain a license if a court order prohibits the person from obtaining that license.
